A new product for the Desert Spring Humidifier, the autoflush is most beneficial to those customers who have hard water. This unit drains the humidifier every 12, 24, or 48 hours, depending on user settings. This allows you to customize it so that you can optimize cleaning, while minimizing water usage. Combining the cleaning power of the autoflush with the anti-scale nature of the Desert Spring Humidifier provides a maintenance free experience for the homeowner. Although the Desert Spring Autoflush has been designed specifically for the Desert Spring furnace humidifier, it can be used on a wide variety of other brands of humidifiers.
Exclusive to www.highqproducts.com and Mediawave Communications Corp., the anti-scale humidifier filter is specifically designed to remove the minerals that cause scale to build up in humidifiers. Made of a special blend of polyphosphate, this filter eliminates more than 95% of scale-forming inorganic minerals such as lime and calcium. Again, although the Anti-Scale humidifier filter was specifically designed for use with the Desert Spring Furnace Humidifier, it can also be used with a number of other brands, as long as they come with a standard 3/8 inch outside diameter water supply line.
A Digital Hygrometer allows you to measure the humidity level anywhere in your home. The Desert Spring Humidifier comes with a humidistat which allows you to control the humidity in your home, but often it is nice to have a hygrometer to monitor the actual humidity in individual rooms. |
